NEW YORK Greg Monroe Pistons Jersey , May 4 (Xinhua) -- The New York City police officer who was shot in the face and chest while on duty two days ago died Monday, officials confirmed.

The officer, Brian Moore, was the first police officer killed in the line of duty since December, when two uniformed New York City police officers were ambushed in Brooklyn, also a borough of New York City.

Moore was shot when he and his fellow officer Erik Jansen sat in an unmarked car in a residential neighborhood in Queens, one of New York City's five boroughs. The officers were reportedly trying to question a black man in his 30s, after they saw him adjust an object in his waistband.

The suspect, identified as Demetrius Blackwell, pulled out a gun and fired several times into the vehicle. The two officers did not have a chance to get out of the car or return fire. Moore was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital, according to police sources.

Blackwell, 35, who was later captured and taken into police custody, was prosecuted Sunday with two counts of charges including first-degree attempted murder. He had a history of extensive arrests.

Moore came from a family of police officers -- both his father and uncle were both retired as sergeants with the New York Police Department, according to New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio.

Mayor de Blasio conveyed his condolences to the family of Moore.

"Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of Police Officer Brian Moore," said Mayor De Blasio in a statement, praising Moore for his brave service and devotion to the job.

"For five years, Brian served with distinction and he put his life on the line each day to keep us all safe," said the mayor. " During this tragic time, New Yorkers must come together to support the Moore family in any way we can."

The chances are which you use your fridge each single day of one’s life, but I doubt you consider it really frequently. It just sits there, gently humming away, doing its job – it鈥檚 just part of life.

Still before the 1920s, there were no fridges, and they weren鈥檛 mass-produced until right after the Second Globe War. Rather, there were iceboxes, non-mechanical fridge-like cupboards that kept cuisine cold employing an huge block of ice. Icemen had to come daily to deliver new blocks of ice for iceboxes, an costly practice. Most houses didn鈥檛 have them, and rather had to settle for keeping points in cupboards and not consuming anything that required to be kept so cold.

The impact of the fridge on the post-war diet just isn’t generally looked at, but it has been big. Fresh cuisine like fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products is usually stored for days or even weeks with out spoiling, meaning that these points might be sold in shops far more very easily and eaten more frequently. Prior to, it would have been crucial to grow fresh produce in your garden, restricting you to foods that grew inside your country and that had been in season, but as refrigeration is often used in the course of transport in refrigerated lorries and ships, fruit and vegetables from all more than the world can now reach us without spoiling.

Currently, fridges typically come in combined units with freezers, one more endlessly valuable 20th century invention. They can be built-in towards the kitchen or freestanding, and generally come with all sorts of added provides, for instance the ability to produce cold water and ice on-demand from the front of the unit. In all probability by far the most useful feature addition has been the advent of 鈥榝rost free鈥?fridges, which use automatic temperature manage to make sure that no ice types inside the fridge.

I've owned many dogs, throughout my life, but have never known exactly how to train them properly. I based my training on punishment and just couldn't figure out why that didn't work that well. But, almost two years ago, I started training my Papillon for agility competition. She was extremely high-drive and I knew she'd really love it. So, I found a good agility training school and off we went. We've been competing, very successfully, for almost a year now and, looking back, I learned so many important things about dog training!

First of all, most trainers require that dogs have completed at least a basic obedience class before proceeding to agility training. This is critical to agility training and, in my opinion, every dog and handler could benefit from a basic obedience class. I learned that I have a food-motivated dog and that she will work her heart out for highly prized treats, not for punishment! There are skills you and your dog will learn, through an obedience class, such as recalls, sitstays, downstays, and walking nicely on a leash. Each of these skills is something you will need every time you compete, not to mention day-to-day life with your dog.

The pace of your training will always be set by your dog. Each dog learns at a different speed and, what comes easily for one dog, may not come easily for another. So, be very patient while training your dog any skill. Make it a game. Let your dog take as much time as it needs, without getting impatient or frustrated, to figure out what behavior you want from it.

All tasks must be broken down into small pieces, whether the task is a simple sit, the beginnings of obstacle training, or more complex tricks or agility sequences. If you break the task down to something small, then markreward and repeat, several times before making the task larger, you will have succ. Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping   Cheap Jerseys From China   Cheap Authentic Jerseys   Cheap NFL Jerseys   Cheap NFL Jerseys   Cheap Authentic NFL Jerseys   Cheap Authentic NFL Jerseys   Wholesale Jerseys   Wholesale Baseball Jerseys   Wholesale Basketball Jerseys
